Chorizo was a staple in our house growing up. Our mom, Aida, used to make homemade chorizo con huevos and serve it with tortillas fresh off the comal. Mmm, we can still smell them now! We hope you enjoy this traditional recipe using our Chorizo Skillet Cooking Spice, inspired by chorizo breakfasts together at the table.
Heat a skillet over medium heat, brown ground turkey with 3 tbsp of avocado oil.
Add 1/2 cup of water and chorizo seasoning. Mix well, bring to a simmer, cover, and cook over low to medium heat for about 10 minutes or until water is fully reduced. Remove from heat.
Heat clean skillet over medium heat and spray with oil. Add eggs and scramble. Add chorizo when eggs are halfway cooked.
Serve with Siete Grain Free Cassava Flour Tortillas and fresh avocado.
