Christin was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She honors composition, light, form, community, and culture through her black and white line drawings and larger-than-life murals. She enjoys marker and paper drawings that she can work on for hours, and she specializes in creating beautiful, magical murals throughout El Paso and beyond.
This month's limited-edition packaging is inspired by family, and it's Christin's interpretation of what it means to honor the past and spark the future. Her design on our Kettle Cooked Fuego Lime Potato Chips is inspired by her grandpa and his garden of cacti she grew up watching him tend and the hummingbirds that would gather around, too. And in honor of her grandma's loving support, Christin's art on our Mexican Wedding Cookies represents the promise of growth—like flowers and their seeds—and inspiration for the future.
We admire the commitment Christin has to making space for artists—especially female-identifying artists—to create their own pieces and artwork. It’s inspiring to see the ways that she uses her own art to honor the people who've inspired her throughout her life, and we’re honored to celebrate her work this Latino Heritage Month with Target. If you're inspired, go grab your very own bags of this exclusive packaging for our Grain Free Mexican Wedding Cookies and our Fuego Lime Kettle Cooked Potato Chips today!
