Siete Spotlight: Martfoot Made | Latino Heritage Month

We went to the vibrant, charming home of Katie Martin, of Martfoot Made Clay Goods. Katie is a native Texan and a lifelong artist. She, and her husband Matt, craft ceramics that take inspiration from the wilder parts of her home state—its flora, its fauna, and especially Big Bend National Park. The desert plants found in Big Bend that don’t just survive, but bloom and thrive in such a harsh environment Katie finds particularly inspiring. She strives to translate that sense of joy and resilience in every piece she creates.
