Gluten Free Sourdough Style Tortillas

Loading...

Heritage-inspired and made in the spirit of gathering, we made these Gluten Free Sourdough-Style Tortillas. Each pillowy bite connects our love for the smell of dough rising on the counter with our memories of hand-rolling balls of masa. They have a flour-like texture with a mild tang that is as comforting as it is delicious.

They’ve quickly become a staple at our Siete meals, and we hope they find a place at the heart of your table, too. Warm them up for tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, or enjoy them any way you gather around food. ¡Buen Provecho!

FAQué?

California, along with additional states to follow, has passed legislation requiring corn masa to be fortified with folic acid. As a result, some of our products that are made with corn masa flour may now list folic acid in the ingredient statement. This will apply to any corn-based tortillas and taco shells

If you're saving our Tortillas for the long winter, or just past the first week of purchase, they should be stored frozen. Please use by the frozen best by date on the back of the package.

We recommend thawing them in the refrigerator, and used within 7 days of opening, unless you choose to refreeze, which is perfectly fine. If using a microwave to thaw, remove the tortillas from their package and set timer for approximately 25-30 seconds.

When refreezing we’ve found using parchment paper or a similar separator is helpful in keeping the tortillas from sticking together. We would not recommend freezing tortilla chips.

We ship our frozen tortillas Monday - Wednesday with ice packs in insulated coolers to maintain freshness.

Most orders received after FedEx pickup on Wednesday will be shipped the following week.

FedEx 2-day shipping is FREE with all tortilla orders.

A few seconds on a warm pan will make your tortillas more delicious every time. Here's how we recommend heating our Gluten Free Sourdough Style Tortillas:

1. Heat griddle, flat top, pan, or comal over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.

2. Warm tortilla for 30-45 seconds on each side.

3. Place each tortilla in a tortilla warmer or a clean kitchen towel to keep them nice and warm.

¡Buen Provecho!
