Our family always looks forward to tacos—on Taco Night or any night! In our hometown of Laredo, many restaurants feature a crispy taco plate on their menu, which includes crunchy tacos filled with ground beef, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and a side of Mexican rice and beans. Whenever we’d dine out, we’d order a few of these plates for the table to share family-style!
Inspired by this nostalgic and delicious platter, we created these Maíz Corn Taco Shells with thoughtfully selected ingredients like organic corn for more people to enjoy. Simply warm them in the oven for 2-3 minutes, fill with your favorite proteins or veggies, and pile all your favorite toppings! Some of our favorite toppings are: cheese, jalapeño peppers, pico de gallo, lettuce, guacamole, and crema.
