I am not much of a "seasoning mix" person. I usually cook from scratch, but I picked a few of the Chicken Fajita seasoning packets up at a discount store 3 for $1 it took me about a year to use them, and I only wish I had used them sooner, both my husband and I were in taste bud heaven as we ate our chicken fajitas. We decided we needed to have this on the regular, like every other week. So I went back to the discount store today around 2pm and not a packet was left. But I didn't give up, I searched all over town, determined to have fajitas again, but no one had the seasoning. They had Siete taco seasoning, but not the Fajita seasoning. I was tempted to buy another brand, but no other Fajita seasoning packets came close. Even the organic ones had maltodextrin and sugar. Siete's was unlike any other on the market. I finally came home around 9pm defeated for the day but still determined. I will have Siete Fajitas again! Fortunately I did find my missing cell phone, and have now discovered the stores in my area that I didn't make it too, but that sell it. I just Wanted all of you working for Siete to know, that you had a mama hunting all over town for your seasoning and that the work you do matters. And I am a new convert to the potential power of the seasoning packet to turn tables.
I used two packs of the chicken fajita seasoning — one pack with olive oil to marinade the chicken. I then put the chicken on a sheet pan with lightly sauted onions and bell peppers. Tossed it all with a second pack and cooked in the oven. It was fantastic! I also love that it’s gluten and dairy free since I can’t have either.
The best experience i have ever had with a food company very professional and the seasoning is the best i have ever had.
