Our family loves gathering together, especially around the holidays! We enjoy candies and Mexican cookies, watch movies, and sip on Mexican hot chocolate—which, not coincidentally, is perfect for dunking desserts! This Small Batch was inspired by our traditions but also by Andrea and Cindy Pedraza from CocoAndré's memories of hanging out with their tías and tíos, talking and laughing together, and enjoying pan dulce—all while keeping warm with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. By creating this Mexican Hot Chocolate Bomb, we've combined the drinking and the dunking, and even featured our Grain Free Mexican Chocolate Cookies as a special surprise inside!
The Pedraza women at CocoAndré say, "The really special part about a hot chocolate bomb is the build up! It's the excitement of making it with someone and sharing in the moment. And, of course, the joy you get when you make it for someone and they smile or tell you it's so good." Just place the Mexican Hot Chocolate Bomb in a mug, pour warmed milk on top, and stir, stir, stir!
