Queso, tacos, nachos, y con huevos! What do all of these dishes have in common, you ask? Vegan Chorizo, of course! This recipe uses our Chorizo Seasoning Skillet Cooking Spice, russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, and pecans to bring the traditional chorizo flavors to our table and dishes like chori-queso and chorizo con papa tacos!
3 tbsp Avocado Oil
2 cups Russet Potato, small diced
1 cup Sweet Potato, small diced
½ cup Pecans, chopped
1 package Siete Chorizo Seasoning Skillet Cooking Spice
Heat a large skillet on medium high.Add oil, russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, pecans.
Sautè on medium heat until potatoes are tender. Lightly mash ⅓ of the potatoes with a fork to give a “ground beef” texture.
Add Siete Chorizo Seasoning Skillet Cooking Spice. Mix in ½ cup of water to incorporate seasoning.
Cook until extra moisture has evaporated.
Serve with Siete Grain Free Tortillas, Siete Dairy Free Cashew Queso, or with a side of eggs!
