Our family loves pico de gallo for its burst of flavors, but also for all of its uses—a topping for tacos, a dip for chips, a mix in for huevo a la mexicana, and in this case, tuna’s perfect match! We’ve made chips perfect for dipping with our Grain Free Almond Flour Tortillas, and we’ve added a bit of spice by drizzling our Whole 30 Approved Habanero Hot Sauce on top. Pico, pico, ¡Que rico!
10oz Canned Tuna, drained
½ Roma Tomato, diced small
½ Jalapeño, minced
¼ cup Red Onion, diced small
3 tbsp Fresh Cilantro, minced
2 Limes, juiced
Salt and pepper to taste
4 Siete Grain Free Almond Flour Tortillas, cut into quarters
Lime Wedges
Siete Habanero Hot Sauce
In a 350 F preheated oven, bake quartered tortillas flat on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Mix tuna with jalapeños, tomato, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
Serve with tostadas, lime wedges, and habanero hot sauce.
