A Dairy Free Banana Split? Don’t have to ask us twice! (We’re not a split house when it comes to banana splits.)
Our family enjoys them as dessert, a midday (or midnight!) snack, or just a delicious treat to satisfy our sweet tooth! We’ve chopped up and mixed in our Grain Free Mexican Wedding Cookie, Shortbread Cookie, and Chocolate Cookie into dairy free vanilla ice cream for sweet creamy scoops with a bit of crunch! Go ahead and add all your favorite toppings—we’ve decorated ours with dairy free chocolate, strawberries, and sweetened nuts, and of course, don’t forget the cherries on top!
1 cup Siete Grain Free Cookies, crumbled into large pieces
1 cup Dairy Free Vanilla Ice Cream of Choice
2 tbsp Coconut Oil or Ghee
3 tbsp Agave Nectar
Pinch Sea Salt
1/2 cup Mixed Nuts (We used sliced almonds & pecans!)
Dairy Free Chocolate, melted
Heat a skillet to medium-high heat, add ghee or coconut oil until melted. Add nuts and lightly toast for 1 minute. Add agave and sea salt. Cool completely and break into small chunks.
Combine cookie crumbles with ice cream.
Peel banana and top with cookie ice cream, candied nuts, strawberries, cherries, and melted chocolate.
